This week’s ArtDrop is made by the talented Italian Giggiart (Luigi), whose style was born in the Rome underground. He stepped into NFTs a little over a year ago and is now working hard to create his own story metaverse. Let’s get to know him a little better:
"I started to draw before writing, drawing knights and horses. Never had an art class. My style came to life when I was a teenager. Then I started to draw puppets and graffiti on the walls in Rome's undergrounds, using inked socks. A bit later, I fell into comics and the manga verse - two things I also really enjoyed. So I decided to mix it all together."

"I think my style is my strength and my weakness at the same time. I’m not very good at drawing in general, but I’ve become really skilled in my particular style. When it comes to digital drawing, I have to admit that I only started about 1 year ago. That’s when I, with the profits of my first sales on FND, bought an iPad. Ever since then I’ve been practicing and improving, day by day."
"My NFT journey started in April 2021. I attempted to realize my dream: to build a graphic novel of my own. I’d already made the very first G-world sketch back in 2006 for the Italian Comicon, but it failed. However, over the last years, I think I’ve honed my skills and now I finally have the expertise and determination to make my dream come true. And since we’re now in Web3, I can turn my story into a metaverse, and make it live in the future as well."
